A cancer-related gene, Meis1, regulates cerebellar development
Published in Journal of Neuroscience

Our members, Mikio Hoshino, Tomoo Owa and colleagues at National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP) revealed that the cancer-related gene, Meis1, regulates cerebellar granule cell development. Meis1 plays multiple functions to coordinate gene transcription, signal transduction and protein degradation that are essential for granule cell differentiation.
