The First Awardee of the Altman Award in Developmental Neuroscience
Our member, Dr. Itaru Imayoshi received the first Altman Award in Developmental neuroscience. This award was established and has been administered by donation Dr. Joseph Altman, who discovered neurogenesis in the adult mammalian brain, offered to make to the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS).
